CLINTON — AmVets Post 14 will host a fundraiser for post member, the late Dick Lenchner, from 7-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 22 at the American Legion hall, 219 N. Elizabeth Street, Clinton.
Lenchner passed away in March. A breakfast fundraiser was scheduled in April but was postponed because of COVID-19. Funds raised will go toward funeral expenses.
The August breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, coffee, milk and orange drink.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for kids 6-under. To-go orders will be available.
There also will be a silent auction, bake sale and 50/50 raffle. For tickets or information, call Jessie Owens at (217) 413-7960 or Kim Pakidis at (217) 201-8622.
Tickets originally purchased for the April event will be honored on August 22. Must turn in original ticket.
