CLINTON — Recently, Clinton AMVETS Post 14 contributed $200 towards a new teen center in Clinton called “The Vault.”
“AMVETS Post 14 takes it seriously when we say in our preamble that ‘…fully realizing our responsibilities to our community, to our state, and to our nation…,’ we will do so with donations such as this one,” said local AmVets representatives.
“We recognize The Vault as an opportunity for the teens of our town to have a place to connect and have fun, as well as to support one another.”
AmVets members said the center would benefit the entire community.
“We are honored to provide a portion of our money from donations and fund-raising to support a function like that of The Vault.”
