CLINTON — On September 26, Anderson Ford and Baum Chevrolet-Buick combined forces to sponsor a second car cruise through Clinton.
Home base was Anderson Ford for registration and judging with the cruise traveling from Anderson’s to and around Mr. Lincoln’s Square and back to the start. Drivers could repeat the loop as many times as they they liked.
There were awards in 12 categories with random gift cards given from Ted’s, Cinco de Mayo, DQ and Clintonia Eagle Theater. The 12 categories were: Best of Show car, Best of Show truck, Best Muscle car, Best Street Car, Best Street Rod, Best Mini Truck, Best Rat Rod, Best Paint, Best Camaro, Best Mustang, Best Sport Compact Car, and last, but not least, Ugliest Car or Truck.
Turnout for the cruise was strong, both in vehicles and spectators lining the streets to watch.
