CLINTON — Enjoy an “Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social” on the afternoon of July 23 at the C.H. Moore Homestead DeWitt County Museum, in Clinton.
The family-friendly event will take place from 3:30-5 pm. Old-fashioned ice cream, home-baked pies and cakes, and refreshing tea and lemonade will be served. Entertainment will be provided by Andrew, “Victorian Magician Extraordinaire,” who will perform an old-time magic show on the front porch and stroll the grounds while amazing young and old with his magic tricks.
Admission is $5. Children ages 5 years and younger will be admitted free. The event will be hosted by the DeWitt County Museum Association, and all proceeds from admissions and donations will go to support the C.H. Moore Homestead DeWitt County Museum.
