Attorney Joe Taylor to retire in November

CLINTON — Joe Taylor, Clinton attorney and mentor to a number of local attorneys over the years, plans to retire in November.
Taylor’s staff congratulated him as an integral part of the Clinton community, serving for 10 years on the Clinton YMCA board of directors, as chairman of the DeWitt Savings Bank board for 10 years and a member of Clinton Rotary since 1971. Taylor is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary and was 2003 Rotarian of the Year.
Taylor was founder of the Central Illinois Girls’ Softball League in 1995 and played an important role in rebuilding Clinton High School’s baseball and softball diamonds.
The Taylor & Lynch law firm will continue with Bryce Lynch and Hillary Hines-Holl, along with the firm’s staff. Taylor and Lynch set up a succession plan in 2018 in anticipation of Taylor’s retiring.
The law firm’s staff encourages the public to congratulate Taylor on his retirement.
