CLINTON — Becky Jane (Sturgeon) Grant, 69, of Clinton, passed away at 10:15 a.m. on July 15, 2022, at her home in Clinton.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, with the Rev. Mark Cooper officiating. Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on  Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.

Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.

Becky was born on August 3, 1952, in DeWitt County, the daughter of Thomas W. “Shorty” and Norma J. (Patterson) Sturgeon. She married David A. Grant on April 6, 1991, in Decatur. He passed away on April 19, 2016.

Survivors include her son, Donald W. Sturgeon, Decatur; grandchildren, Zachary Cooley, Ashley Biggs, Tylar Biggs, Danielle Baumgartner, Bobby Sturgeon, and Billy Sturgeon, along with many great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, and daughter, Donna Jean Biggs.

Becky loved riding horses, camping, and raising dogs.
