CLINTON — On Saturday January 13, at approximately 10:24 a.m., Clinton Police were called to the Clinton High School regarding a bomb threat discovered inscribed on a restroom stall.
During the time of the incident, Clinton High School was host to a regional dance competition and a large crowd present at the school. Upon arrival of police personnel, they met with school officials who were quickly able to deem the threat not credible. Due to specific details included in the threat, officials determined there was no need for evacuation.
Clinton High School administrators, assisted by Clinton Police and Fire Department personnel, searched the school with no additional evidence of a credible threat and normal activities were resumed.
