CLINTON — Bonnie Fay (Adams) Moran, age 69, of Clinton, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by family on April 10, 2021.

Bonnie was born at Alton Memorial Hospital on April 22, 1951. She was the daughter of William Freeman and Ruby (Carter) Adams. Bonnie went on to be a 1970 graduate of Bunker Hill High School and later moved to Clinton.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family at St. Joe State Park “Flat River,” where they camped, went four-wheeling and more. She also dedicated many years to working at Dr. John Warner Hospital. Ultimately, family and faith were two of Bonnie’s favorite things. She enjoyed being able to watch her grandchildren grow up and always expressed to them how proud they made her.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Tina Russell, Frankie Russell, Sheila Russell and Michelle Lambert, as well as her siblings, Dasda Baremore, Billy Adams, Carl Adams, Calvin Adams and Terry Adams. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Aundraya Rodas, Rebecca Russell, Isaiah Nichols, Kevin Rodas, Jasmin Lambert, Hannah Lambert, Sarah Russell and Faith Lambert.

Something many may not know about Bonnie is that she had twins. The family is comforted knowing that Bonnie and Theresa Russell are reunited once again. She also was preceded in death by her siblings, Joann Adams, Mike Adams, Jay Adams, Timmy Adams and Les Adams.

Bonnie was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and follower of Christ. Something she always expressed to her children and grandchildren is that there are always angels protecting them. Keeping her favorite song, “One Day at a Time,” in mind, the family now has an angel they know protecting over them every day.

The family would like to express great thanks to Pastor Scott Marsh, of Texas Christian Church, in Clinton, as well as everyone who has given kind words, cards, prayers and much more over the past five months.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Texas Christian Church at 8301 Texas Church Rd., Clinton, IL, 61727. Condolences may be sent to 1419 E Washington Street,  Clinton, IL, 61727. A celebration of life will be at a later date.

Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with cremation rites.
