SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Grace and mercy took the hand of Bradley Rueger, 58, on Friday, April 15, 2022, to eternity after a very short illness with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Clinton Assembly of God.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30-1 p.m.
Bradley was born to Carolyn and James Rueger, at Dr. John Warner Hospital on August 24, 1963.
He graduated from Clinton High School in 1981 and worked several jobs, including at Clinton China, Hardee’s and maintenance man at a nursing home, where he always brought smiles and laughter.
Considered a gentle giant, Brad moved to Arcadia, Fla. in 2011 to be a comfort and help to his dearest friend, Michelle Julisson. He moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2015 to help his sister. He enjoyed long walks, the swimming pool and going to Circle K for cherry Pepsi. (He had the gallon jug for refills.)
Brad loved animals, especially Lacey, Zoey and Rooster. Brad was loving and kind. He loved sports, the Chicago Cubs (win for Brad), the Chicago Bears, the Spurs and Illini college games with his step-mom, Ida Rueger.
Brad also enjoyed working as a cook at McDonald’s. He was a peaceful man, and he left us peacefully. Brad accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal savior.
Brad will be greatly missed by his brother Brian, of Clinton, sister Cindy, of San Antonio, and all those who knew this gentle giant.
If it is in your heart, memorials should be sent to the Clinton Assembly of God rebuilding fund.
