CLINTON — Carol Ann Chrispen, 72, of Clinton, passed away at 11:53 a.m. on November 22, 2020, at her family residence, Clinton.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with cremation rites.

Carol was born on April 11, 1948, in Streator, the daughter of John and Hazel (Robertson) Cannon. She married Herman L. Chrispen on June 1, 1968, in Bloomington. He passed away on October 24, 2004.
Survivors include her children, Steven Chrispen, Carbondale, Ill.; Renee (David) Mix, Clinton; Chris (Grace) Chrispen, Farmer City; and Sara Chrispen, DeLand; five grandchildren; siblings, Jack Cannon, Peoria; Patty Cannon, Minonk; and Mark (Cathy) Cannon, Normal.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol worked at the Illinois Agriculture Association (IAA) Federal Credit Union, in Bloomington, for more than 20 years. She loved taking walks, all animals, and playing board games. Most of all, Carol loved spending time with her family and being very generous.
