KENNEY — The state is conducting bridge work on a span over Salt Creek on Ill. Rt. 54, about two miles east of Kenney.
Contractors will perform work to the eastbound and westbound lanes, beginning with the eastbound lane. Drivers are asked to exercise caution as work progresses; slow down and obey traffic signs. Trucks will enter and exit the work site on a regular basis.
Work is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 31.
Illinois Department of Transportation
