CES Assistant Principal Mooney receives recognition

Police honor Mooney for help in missing person case

CLINTON — During the Clinton school board meeting on Oct. 18, special recognition was given to Clinton Elementary School assistant principal Ben Mooney by Clinton Police Chief Ben Lowers.

Lowers sent a letter to Superintendent Curt Nettles commending Mooney for his “selfless contribution” in reviewing the school’s video security footage with law enforcement personnel in their search for a missing local resident this past summer.

“We are proud of Mr. Mooney for his efforts and for continuing to push our mission which is that we will be a dynamic community partner in all ways that we can,” said Nettles.
