CLINTON — The Clinton Chamber of Commerce board of directors recently decided to discontinue the Agri-Business Banquet event and awarded the funds remaining in the event account to the Clinton High School FFA and Blue Ridge High School FFA.
The Agri-Business Banquet event began in 2008, funded through sponsorships from Chamber-member businesses. Those attending the events were treated to a complimentary dinner along with an ag-related presentation and door prizes.
Chamber officials thanked all of the sponsors that supported the Agri-Business Banquet over the years. Those sponsors included Baum Chevrolet-Buick, Central Illinois Ag, Clinton Equipment Company., AHW, Inc., DeWitt County Farm Bureau, First National Bank & Trust Company, State Bank of Lincoln, Marco, NPK, Maroa Ag Center, Beason Ag Center, Moore & Warner Farm Real Estate, LLC, Peterson Insurance Services, Inc., WHOW Radio, Pioneer Seeds, Bayer/Monsanto Company, Douglas Dodge, The Clinton Journal, Waters Construction, Inc., Nelson Excavating, Inc., and Woods Photography Studio.
