State Sen. Chapin Rose (center) met with Tony Harris, DeWitt County 911 Director (left) and James Cripe (right), Piatt County 911 Director, June 28 at the Statehouse. The group discussed funding for 911 centers. On July 1, Sen. Rose supported legislation to keep local 911 centers operational after their statutory authority to do so expired.
