The local Chapter B PEO recently elected new officers to their organization. Left to right: Nancy Lareau; Chaplain, Valerie Crutchfield, Vice President and Immediate Past President; Krista Rohrscheib, Recording Secretary; Robin Lecouris, Corresponding Secretary; Lana Ophorst, President; Nancy Lamkin, Guard; and Vanessa Ophorst, Treasurer. Vanessa is also on the State Cottey College Committee. Chapter B is the second oldest Chapter in the State of Illinois. The PEO mission is educating and assisting women –“ By Women, For Women, About Women”. PEO owns Cottey College, a Women’s College, in Nevada, Mo.
