CLINTON — Charlotte F. O’Dea, 87, of Clinton, passed away at 2:17 p.m. on January 4, 2021, at Manor Court, Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Pastor David Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 12–1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to DeWitt County Genealogical Society.
Charlotte was born on November 6, 1933, in Heyworth, the daughter of George and Viola (Buckley) Pendleton. She married Robert L. O’Dea, Sr. on September 12, 1954, in Heyworth. He passed away on September 22, 2020.
Survivors include her son, Robert L. O’Dea, Jr., Clinton; grandsons, Robert Kyle O’Dea, Clinton; Mark Bradley Moore, Simpsonville, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Olivia Grace Moore and Rylan Ozias Moore, Simpsonville, S.C.; twin brother, Charles (Betty) Pendleton, Estero, Fla.; and sister, Mary Schmidt, Denver, Colo.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Dorothy Weidner.
Charlotte was a beautician and farmer, a past member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, and a member of the DeWitt County Genealogical Society. Charlotte, with her husband, Robert, were core members who helped create the Apple ‘N Pork Festival
