April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. The McLean County Child Protection Network, which has a DeWItt County satellite office in Clinton, works to inform and inspire the community about the issue of child abuse, and the organization encouages the community to learn as much as possible and join them in our quest to protect children. Pinwheels recently were planted on Mr. Lincoln’s Square by local students. Pinwheels also were planted in McLean County. They represent children served in DeWitt, McLean and Livingstone Counties by the agency.
