CLINTON — Although at times a bit chilly, the Lady Maroons have now taken on the outdoor season with a new determination. During the premier outdoor meet of the young season the Lady Maroons had no school records (hang on the’re coming) but placed first in many events and had several personal bests. The first place finishers were as follows:
Mallory Cyrulik: 100m dash
Payne Turney: 200m dash
Claudia Workman: Shot Put
Clare Holland: 1600m run
Jackie Green: Pole Vault (tied personal record)
Tori Burke, Mallory Cyrulik, Kaitlyn Rauch, and RyTy
Dupont-Barlow: 4x100m relay
Mallory Cyrulik, Hadley Wilson, Payne Turney, and Tori Burke: 4x200m relay
Clare Holland, Olivia Petersen, Mackenzee Willoughby,
and Jessie Wertz: 4x800m relay
(The 4x800m relay of Aryn Scott, Hadley Wilson, Alax
Shanks, and Raya Swartz placed second)
Natalie Rhodes: high jump
RyTy Dupont-Barlow: triple jump (and a personal record)
Others having a great day by scoring a personal best were Emmy Fought in shot put, Mac Reeser in discus, Alax Shanks in the 1600m run and last but not least Lyric Griffith in high jump.
