CLINTON — The Clinton Christmas parade took place on Saturday, November 24. There were 85 entries. That number was up from 70 entries in the 2016 Christmas parade.
The entries were divided in five categories, Walkers, Vehicles, Floats, Equestrian, and Motorcycle/ATV. Here are the first and second place category winners:
Walkers:
1st Place: Clinton Education Association
2nd Place: Girl Scouts of Central Ill.
Vehicles:
1st Place: Weldon Springs Foundation
2nd Place: Miss Farmer City/DeWitt County Fair Queen and Little Miss
Floats:
1st Place: Ace Hardware
2nd Place: Multi Organizational Veterans
Equestrian:
1st Place: Black Magic Friesians
2nd Place: Silver Spur Stables
Motorcyle/ATV:
1st Place: Midland Mulisha
2nd Place: Guardians of the Children
