Superintendent of Schools Kurt Nettles released the following statement Thursday afternoon:
"Clinton CUSD 15 is proud to announce Matt Koeppel as the District Athletic and Activities Director beginning July 2018. He will be approved by the Board of Education at its May meeting.
Matt was chosen from a field of 21 applicants. He is a licensed physical education teacher and driver education teacher, and he has a master’s degree from ISU. Matt has been teaching and coaching at Olympia High School for the past 11 years with other stops in education along the way prior to that.
His coaching experiences as a head coach and assistant coach include varsity football, varsity soccer, middle school basketball, and varsity basketball.
