CLINTON — On Wednesday, December 28, Clinton High School saw another student athlete sign to continue their studies and athletic career at the next level, Claudia Workman, the daughter of Amy Workman.

According to the records books, Claudia has done well in the shot put attaining several records and is progressing in the discus with hopes of reaching a school record there also. Clinton Coach Darren Moser said that Claudia has improved greatly over the past few seasons and believes she can go even further.
Coach Moser, who has lived in Clinton 13 years and coached for the past four years has been a mentor of Claudia’s said he is proud that Claudia chose his alma mater to attend.
Claudia’s main thoughts on WIU were for the curriculum in meteorology and the distance from home.
Although Claudia says she is not one for big changes, she can’t wait for this next step in her life. She is looking forward to this move to the next level of challenge in her life.
