CLINTON — After two or three weekends of cancellations, there was a doubleheader baseball game, held on Saturday, October 31, Halloween.
The Clinton Rams battled the Mt. Zion Braves. The Braves came dressed for the holiday with each player wearing a different color t-shirt over their uniform shirts. The teams were made up of junior high-aged players.
The first game started well for the Clinton Rams as they scored a run in the bottom of the first inning on a couple of well-placed hits and several throwing errors by the opposition. The middle innings were a pitchers’ duel until the final inning.
