CLINTON — Cord and Judy Burris celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends on October 29 at the American Legion, in Clinton. Burris and Judy Wickenhauser were married on October 27, 1967, at The First Christian Church, in Wapella. Their attendants were Mary Shaw and Jack Burris.
They are the parents of Robin (Kim) Lecouris. They have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cord retired from the Illinois Central Railroad in 1985, and Judy retired from State Farm in 1997.
