Marie E. Grant, 25, Clinton, for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Notice to appear issued.
June 24
Elliott J. Howard, 31, Clinton, for speeding 41 mph in a 30 mph zone. Notice to appear issued.
Brooke R. Fink, 33, Clinton, for possession of cannabis.

On June 23, Clinton Police arrested Dale E. Sympson, 70, Clinton, for domestic battery. Sympson was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On June 24, Clinton Police arrested Tre Vonn Bassett, 24, Heyworth, for criminal damage to state supported property and a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bassett was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On June 25, Clinton Police arrested Joseph S. Hardesty, 39, Clinton, for domestic battery. Hardesty was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On June 25, Clinton Police arrested Matthew D. Herald, 48, Clinton for driving while license revoked. Herald was released on a notice to appear in court.
On June 26, Clinton Police Investigated a property damage accident on Bus. Rt. 51 and Kleemann Drive. A vehicle driven by Anthony L. Gray, 39, Clinton, was southbound on Bus. 51 when he left the roadway and struck a power pole and guard rail. Power lines were pulled down due to the accident. Gray was cited for failure to reduce speed, improper lane usage and driving under the influence. Gray was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On June 27, Clinton Police arrested Alberto Alonso, Jr., 52, Houton, Texas, on a Sangamon County warrant. Alonso was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
All suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
