WELDON — Curtis L. Marcum, 86, of Weldon, passed away at 11:17 a.m. on September 24, 2018, at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon. Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Curtis L. Marcum memorial fund.
Curtis was born on May 27, 1932, in Weldon, the son of Grace (Goken) Marcum. He married Betty F. Perkins on August 2, 1953, in Bangor, Maine.
Survivors include his wife, Betty F. Marcum, Weldon; children Tim B. Marcum, Weldon; Michael Marcum, Aurora, Ill.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jeffrey.
Curtis was a talented mechanic, who enjoyed motorcycles. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the DeLand Masonic Lodge A.F & A.M.
