CLINTON — D. Jean Juliuson, formerly of Clinton, passed from this earthly life and slipped peacefully into eternity during her sleep on March 28, 2019. She had been ill for about a week.
Born to H. Orville Harper and Gayle F. (Kreider) Harper in Avon, Ill. on December 23, 1935, Jean grew up in the Cuba, Ill. area. She graduated from Cuba High School. Jean married P.O. Jean worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital for most of her adult life as an administrative secretary, retiring after 42 years. One of her favorite pastimes was working crossword puzzles. She was rarely without a crossword puzzle book in her hand.
She loved the warmth of Florida and rarely made it back to Illinois in recent years.
