CLINTON — Dale Eugene Sympson, 73, of Clinton, passed away 8:50 p.m. on December 19, 2019, at his family residence.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Pastor John Roberson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery, Waynesville. Visitation will be held from 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Dale Eugene Sympson memorial fund.
Dale was born on September 19, 1946, in Lincoln, the son of Howard and Betty (Garr) Sympson. He married Donna Kaye Gresham on March 26, 2010, in Clinton.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Kaye Sympson, Clinton; children, James (Diane) Sympson, Glenmora, Wash.; Becky Sympson, Ft. Myers, Fla.; Dianna (Brian) Knoll, Armington, Ill.; Angie Johnson, Clinton; Eric (Sara) Johnson, Twenty Nine Palms, Calif.; and Samantha (William) Spray, Clinton; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eddie (Sandy) Sympson, Atlanta, Ill.; Gary (Gayle) Sympson, Waynesville; and Sherri (Steve) Welch, Waynesville.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dixie Charron.
Dale was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who served his country in Vietnam.
