HUDSON, Wis. — Daniel Edward DeBauche, of Hudson, Wis., passed away on July 31, 2019, following a long bout with cancer.

A service was held on August 3 in Hudson.  A further service will be held at 3 p.m. on August 31, at the Clinton Assembly of God, with pastor Nick Blacklidge officiating.

Daniel was born on September 18, 1948, in Bloomington, Ill., son of John H. and Lucille Myers DeBauche.  He married Jackie LaVigne in November 1999. She survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Dusty Monberg, Wapella; and son, Dan Hamm, Hudson, Wis.; grandchildren, Ashley (Wyatt Hosier) Scott, Jessica (Kaleb) Shepherd, and William D. Scott, all of Wapella; Paine H. DeBauche and Madilyn Scott, Clinton; Cheyenne (Kyle) Hughes, Lexington, Ill., and Sierra (Colton Reeves) Atteberry,  Bloomington; great-grandchildren, Blakelyn Hosier, Ivy Shepherd, Mia Underwood, and Ewan G. Hughes, William A. Futrell, Red Wing, Minn.; sisters, Frances (Cliff) Wright and Paula Duane, Milwaukee, Wis.

He was preceded in death by son, Joseph L. DeBauche, his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Daniel was a Vietnam veteran and a referee with the Illinois High School Association (IHSA).

He loved the Chicago Cubs, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
