CLINTON — There will be a memorial service with military honors held for David L. Mayfield on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at New Life Community Church, 310 East Van Buren Street, in Clinton. The service will be conducted at 1 p.m.
David was dearly loved by his family and was a cherished member of the New Life Community Church family. Dave has now passed to a better world after a bout with cancer.
David was a member of American Legion Post 2910, in Bloomington, Ill. Cremation Rites were conducted by Calvert Funeral Home, in Clinton, and David will be laid to rest at a later date in Mt. Auburn, Ill., next to his wife.
