CLINTON — Debora K. “Debbie” Rodgers, 65, of Clinton, passed away at 1:20 a.m. on January 13, 2022, at Farmer City Rehab, Farmer City.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with OSF Hospice Chaplain Joyce Rinkenberger officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wapella. Visitation will be held from 3–5 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society
Debora was born on January 12, 1957, in Bloomington, the daughter of Merle and Mary Ruth (Early) Rodgers.
Survivors include her son, Nick (Elayne) Smith, Wausau, Wis.; brother, C. Gordon (Rita) Rodgers, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Patricia (Keith) Wienke, White Heath, Ill.; and longtime companion, Kevin Hany, Clinton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Vernon Rodgers.
Debbie worked at Ferrero, formerly of Beich’s Candy Factory, Bloomington, for over 30 years and in management positions prior to that. She loved car shows, fishing, gardening, and animals, especially her dog.
