CLINTON — The DeWitt County Riding Club will host a fun show and chili cook off starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 27. Registration will begin at noon.
The club is located at 4783 Connors Road, 6.5 miles east of Clinton on Rt. 10.
All-day fee for exhibitors will be $25; age groups 12-under and 13-over. Equestrian helmets will be required for anyone under 18.
There will be a costume contest for horses and people at 1 p.m. in the arena.
Immediately following the costume class will be the keyhole, pole bending, flag race, barrel race and plug race.
Chili / soup cook off is open to all, set up in the club house by 11:30 a.m..
There will be drinks for sale in the club house
