Bryan Bell, 19, Bolingbrook, was issued a citation for possession of cannabis less than 10 g.  Bell was issued a notice to appear and was released.

Gary Davidson, 62, Clinton, was issued a citation for unsecured load.  Davidson was issued a notice to appear and was released.

Robert Eldridge, 42, Bloomington, was issued a citations for possession of cannabis less than 10 gram, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving while revoked, BAC freater than .08, and two counts of DUI.  Eldridge was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a BAC 0.08 and driving on revoked license.  Eldridge, being un-able to post the necessary bond, remains incarcerated.

Laurie Watson, 41, Clinton, was issued citations for twocounts of DUI and speeding (72 mph in a 55 mph zone).

Nathan Christensen, 27, Normal, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful/Veh/Fir Loaded/No FOID Card/ reckless discharge of a firearm/endanger, disorderly conduct. Christensen, being unable to post the necessary bond, remains incarcerated.

David Christensen, 36, Leroy, issued a citation for two counts of driving under the influence.  Christensen was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful/Veh/Fir Loaded/No FOID/reckless discharge of a firearm/endanger/disorderly conduct/driving under the influence of alcohol.  Christensen, being unable to post the necessary bond remains incarcerated.

Brittany Taylor, 28, Carbondale, was issued a citation for speeding (78 in a 55 mph zone).  Taylor was given a notice to appear and was released.

Warren Lieb, 36, Mahomet, was arrested on a DeWitt County warrant charging him with driving on a revoked license/FTA.  Lieb paid the required bond and was released.

Investigation into the scene of an accident occurring on 10/3/17 revealed that Sarah Taylor, 81, of Weldon, was traveling eastbound on IL Route 10, east of Weldon Springs.  Robert Lowers, 73, of Clinton, was also traveling eastbound on IL Route 10, east of Weldon Springs.  Lowers slowed and stopped, activated his turn signal, attempting to turn in to his residence.  Taylor hit Lowers from behind.  Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  Taylor was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Jackie Ward 42, Farmer City, was issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle.  Ward was given a notice to appear and was released.

David Harjung, 50, Forsyth, was issued a citation for speeding (66 mph in a 45 mph zone).  Harjung was issued a notice to appear and was released.

John Cooper, 54, Clinton, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.  Copper posted the necessary bond was released.

All suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
