WAPELLA — Dwight D. Hays, 74, of Wapella, passed away at 4 p.m. on April 13, 2017, at the Warner Hospital in Clinton.
A celebrating life visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Calvert Funeral Home in Clinton. Burial will be at the Aten Cemetery at a later date.
Dwight was born in Hidalgo, Ill. on April 12, 1943, the son of Delphine “Mike” and Oma Childress Hays. Dwight retired from Country Companies. Dwight served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving is his sister Nila Fain, of Casey, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents.
