NORMAL — Edith Jennings-Wickline, 99, of Normal, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Sugar Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center.
A service to honor and celebrate Edith’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel, 4020 N. Water Street Decatur. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Edith will be laid to rest in Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Edith was born on February 21, 1918, in Coin, Iowa, the daughter of Albert Earl and Theresa (Lyden) Gardner. She married Frank Jennings on October 1, 1938. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1988. She married Harold Wickline 10 years later and he also preceded her in death. Edith was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling with her husband Frank who owned WHOW Radio Station in Clinton, furthering her love of country music.
Edith is survived by her son: Norman (Jill) Jennings of Bloomington, Ill.; brother: Jerry (Delores) Gardner of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren: Rodney Jennings of Des Plaines, Ill., Mark (Jennifer) Jennings of Oswego, Ill., Betsy Harrison of Normal, Ill. and Brad (Zid) Hagi of Tokyo, Japan; great grandchildren: Tara Jennings of Des Plaines, Ill., Megan Jennings of Oswego, Ill., Allison Jennings of Oswego, Ill., Caitlin Harrison of Normal, Ill. and Steve Harrison of Normal, Ill.; great-great granddaughter: Harper Jones of Normal, Ill..
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, four brothers, one sister and one niece.
