CLINTON — Edna L. Stine, 89, of Clinton, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on June 30, 2017, at Manor Court, Clinton.
A celebration of Edna’s life will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at New Beginnings Church of God, 814 Jersey Ave., Normal, Ill., with Pastor Aaron Stine, grandson, officiating. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with cremation rites.
Memorials may be directed to the New Beginnings Church of God, Normal, Ill.
Edna was born on July 11, 1927, in Bloomington, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Leila Dell (Quiggins) Probus. She married Leland D. Stine on May 3, 1947, in Bloomington.
Survivors include her husband, Leland D. Stine, Clinton; children, Larry (Julie) Stine, Kappa, Ill.; Sandra (Roger) Griffith, Clinton; and Steven (Gina) Stine, Chicago; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Goldie Shickle, Bloomington, Ill., and Charlotte Moews, Normal, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one great-great-grandson.
Edna loved her church and her family.
