Vespasian Warner Library partners to offer AARP tax aide

CLINTON – Warm up at the library in February with a book or movie and don’t forget to register for the upcoming free events.

In addition, the library is excited continue its partnership with Dove Inc. and R.S.V.P to offer the AARP Foundation Tax Aide program. This program offers free tax preparation to anyone of any age, especially if they are 50 or older or can’t afford paid tax preparation.

This service will be available on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings beginning February 11. New this year. Appointments are required and must be made in person at the library during regular hours. All participants must complete Form 13614-C prior to their appointment. A free copy of the form will be provided during registration. Please call the library at 217-935-5174 for more information.

The library is open Monday-Thursday from 9am-7pm, Friday from 9am-4pm, and Saturday from 9am-1pm. Hours are subject to change.
