SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Forrest W. Gash, age 70, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on August 10, 2021, in Sanford Fla.
Forrest was born in Clinton to Warner Jefferson Gash and Dorothy Eileen (Patterson) Gash on November 1, 1950. H attended and graduated from Clinton High School. Forrest owned his own company and traveled the U.S. working on unassisted retirement homes.
He was involved with the Cross Members Car Club, Pharoah’s Car Club, and attended the Assemblies of God, Life 360.
Forrest married the love of his life, Kathy (Baker) Gash, in 1979, and then again in 1999. To this union were born three children, Danielle Gash, Jess Gash and Cole Elmer.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, Warner and Dorothy, and daughter Danielle. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, sons, Jess, of Missouri; Cole, of Missouri, sister Evelyn (Darrell) Crawley, of Florida; Sharon (Tom) Redington, of Illinois.
He enjoyed fishing, going to car shows and drinking coffee. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
