CLINTON — Gary Leon Conn, 62, of Clinton, passed away at 7:20 p.m. on July 29, 2017, at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, Ill.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 9:30–11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
Gary was born on June 30, 1955, in Inglewood, Calif., the son of Milton Keith and Beverly Jane (Rich) Conn.
Survivors include his mother: Beverly Jane Conn, Clinton, Ill; children, Joshua (Amy) Conn and Amber Conn both of Yucaipa, Calif.; one grandchild, Gavin Conn, Yucaipa, Calif.; step-children: Dawn Hamblock, Calif. and Larry Clingempeel, Bloomington, Ill.; threestep-grandchildren; brother, Eldon (Kathy) Conn, Clinton; longtime companion,Suzie Edwards, Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Gary worked as a welder and enjoyed cars and motorcycles.
