Girl Scout Troop 3044 gives cookies to first responders

Courtesy of Girl Scout Troop 3044 / Tess Gornet Troop 3044 leader — On February 15, Girl Scout Troop 3044 hosted first responders from six DeWitt County departments and presented them with Girl Scout cookies as a token of their appreciation for all the work they do on behalf of the county’s residents. Each department received 10 boxes of cookies to share with their respective members. The gift was made possible through a donation from First National Bank and Trust of Clinton (#2 Kelli Ct), facilitated by Matt Hall, bank employee and father of troop member Evy Hall. Troop co-leader Loretta Woodbury was instrumental in contacting the various departments to send representatives to the meeting.
