CLINTON — At their final home triangular meet at Clinton Country Club, Clinton High School (CHS) recognized the two seniors who will leave the team after this season.

Ben Atkins, son of Alicia Atkins, who is also a first-year member of the Maroons’ golf team was honored.  Ben also participated in basketball, baseball and theater while attending CHS.  He served as a class officer and is on the student council.

After graduation, Ben plans to serve in the mission field for The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.  He then wants to attend Brigham Young University studying Physiology and Developmental Biology, pursuing a doctorate in chiropractic.  Ben also wants to join the U.S. Air Force through the ROTC program.

The second senior was Trenton Sanders, who is the son of Michele and Chad Sanders.  Trenton is a three-year member of the Maroons’ golf team, and he also played baseball and participated in the Central Illinois CEO program.

Trenton plans to attend university after graduation, majoring in business management.
