Helen Jean Colliver

LANE — Helen Jean Colliver, 94, of Minonk, formerly of Lane, died at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Heritage Manor, Minonk.
Mrs. Colliver was born on June 29, 1928, in Clinton, the daughter of Walter Robert and Susan E. (Mott) Jones. She married Harold L. Colliver on August 28, 1950, in Missouri. Her husband preceded her in death on June 16, 2004.
Her parents, three sisters, three brothers and one daughter, Kimmy Colliver also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her three children, Robert L. (Debi) Colliver, of Hartsburg; Patty A. Reinhart, of Jacksboro, Tenn.; Jayne (John) Middleton, of Newtonsville, Ohio; one brother, Oscar Jones; two sisters, Lorretta Colliver and Lilly Green; 10 grandchildren, Lee Reinhart, Rachel (Ron) Fugate, Michael (Lauren) Reinhart, Tim Colliver, Carrie (Keith) Mason, Rebbeca (Keith) Grabowski, Erika (Nathanael) Hawkins, Jonathan (Breanna) Middleton, Nathan Middleton, Austin Middleton and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Clinton with Pastor Jonathan Roberson and John Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation with the family will be held from 10 a.m. –11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral, also at the church in Clinton on Saturday. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be directed to First Baptist Church of Clinton, bus ministry.
Mrs. Colliver was employed as a clerk for the City of Clinton water department for more than 22 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, where she lovingly served on the bus ministry for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed being surrounded by her grandchildren.
