TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Helen Marie Curl, 98, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Clinton, passed away at 10:38 a.m. on July 13, 2018, at her residence in Tallahassee.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson and the Rev. C. Don Ferrill officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.  Visitation will be held from noon-1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Shriners or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Helen was born on December 9, 1919, in Tunbridge Township, Kenney, Ill., the daughter of Daniel Levi and Elsie (Dillow) Delamere.  She married Thomas J. Curl on March 14, 1958, in Hernando, Miss.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Curl, Tallahassee, Fla.; grandsons, Gary (Robyn) Armstrong, Pooler, Ga.; Greg (Bobbie Jean) Armstrong, Tallahassee, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Dustin (Mavis) Armstrong and their children, Amiaya and Savannah; Dillon Armstrong, Dallas Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong and Joshua (Holly) Armstrong, and son-in-law, Jack (Bonnie) Armstrong, Tallahassee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Rose Marie Armstrong, and one sister, Louise Rogers.

Helen was DeWitt County Clerk from 1976-1982.  She was a member of the Business & Professional Women’s Club.
