FORSYTH — Irene Howell, of Forsyth, will celebrate her 100th birthday on June 30 with an open reception in the Fellowship Hall of Texas Christian Church, 8301 Texas Church Road, Clinton, from 12:30-3 pm. Irene was born on July 1, 1919, in rural Maroa. She married James Howell, now deceased, on December 3, 1937, in Washington, Ind. She is the mother of Richard (Pam) Howell, of Maroa. One son, Robert, (Melody) is deceased. She has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
