CLINTON – If fall is your favorite season, the Vespasian Warner Public Library District has plenty of fun to help you enjoy the season.

Stop by the library at 310 N. Quincy Street to check out a book or movie and participate in one of the activities happening this month.

Fall Clay Miniatures Grab ‘n Go began on October 1. Pick up a free kit with supplies and instructions to make a miniature clay pumpkin, witch hat and ghost at home. They are available while supplies last. One kit is allowed per person for ages 5-up.

Movie Night At-Home will run from October 13-17. Did you know that the Vespasian Warner Library has over 8,000 DVDs and Blu-Ray movies available? Check-out a movie from October 13 -17 to receive a free bag of microwave popcorn and some candy to make your at-home experience that much better. One per household while supplies last.

Pumpkin decorating will begin on October 17, so come decorate your own mini pumpkin at the library for this free fall program. All supplies are provided, and all ages are welcome to participate.

This program will take place outdoors, so dress accordingly. Masks are required. Advance registration also is required, and space is limited. Participants will be asked to select a 10 a.m. or noon session. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.

Pumpkin Palooza Grab ‘n Go will start on October 19.  Pick up a free kit with supplies and instructions to make a yarn pumpkin and toilet paper pumpkin. These are available while supplies last. One kit per person. Suggested age is 5-up.

The Vespasian Warner Public Library is currently open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Hours are subject to change.
