CLINTON — County Democratic Party chairman Terry Redman reported the local party held one of its best events earlier in February with over 105 people attending.
Democratic candidate for Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker paid a visit to the event. Also attending were Jesse Ruiz, candidate for Attorney General, Jen McMillin, candidate for Bill Mitchell’s Illinois House seat, Betsy Dirksen Londrigan, Erik Jones, and David Gill, candidates for the 13th Congressional District to replace Rodney Davis, and representatives from the Jon Ebel campaign, who is also running for the 13th Congressional District.
Cris Rogers, Sue Whitted, and Randy Perring running for the DeWitt County Board also attended. Juliana Stratton, Lt. Governor candidate, and Illinois State Treasurer Mike Frerichs also were present.
The event was held at the Clinton American Legion hall.
