CLINTON — Street work on Jericho Road began on July 24 is getting closer to completion.
Contractors began resurfacing work to Jericho Road in July and also have been performing work to the storm sewer. Before the project began, Clinton public works supervisor Steve Lobb notified the local media, as well as city council members, that the project was scheduled to start, as well as announcing some street closures in the area while the work continued.
Hillcrest Drive was closed through traffic between Edgelea Drive to Park Lane and Jericho Road from Hillcrest to Edgelea Drive.
Temporary mail boxes were set up for residents living in the area of the work.
The contractor will reset the mail boxes once the concrete has cured.
