CLINTON — Jerry Lee Reynolds, 83 of Clinton, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on May 28, 2019, at his family residence.
Graveside services will be conducted a p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019, at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, Ill., with Chaplain Bob Goebel officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton,with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Jerry Lee Reynolds memorial fund.
Jerry Lee was born on November 4, 1935, in Farmer City. He was raised by his grandparents, Robert T. and Anna Nancy (Welch) Reynolds. He married Twanda Rose Newberry July 1, 1957, in DeWitt.
Survivors include his wife, Twanda Rose Reynolds, Clinton; children, Gary (Jamie) Reynolds, Clinton; Pamela A. (David) Terry, Clinto; Charles Reynolds, Clinton, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, siblings, Jean Pearson, Shipshewana, Ind.; Scott (Diane) Ramsey, Fla.; and Brenda (Eric) Lewis, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, two sons, Jerry Wayne Reynolds and Scott Patrick Reynolds, grandson, David Terry, and one great-grandson, Zander Reynolds.
Jerry worked for the City of Clinton for 32 years. The last 15 of those years, he was a superintendent of streets, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
