WAYNESVILLE — Judith Ann Holt, 70, of Waynesville, Ill., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Born on August 10, 1949, in Clinton, she was the daughter of Joel and Delores June Edwards [Owens]. She married Kent Holt on May 25, 1968.

She worked at Illinois State University, in the Office of Residential Life, where she retired after 15 years of service. She enjoyed golf, gardening, mornings with her coffee group and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church praise and worship team. where her passion for singing could be realized.

She is survived by her son Jamison Holt and wife Meggan of Gallatin, Tenn.,  and Lisa Schillinger and husband Michael Schillinger, of Palatine, Ill.; six grandchildren Alexander (20), Ethan (17), Mason (17), Grant (16), Katherine (13) and Zachary (9).

Visitation services will be conducted from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Calvert Funeral Home 201 S Center St, Clinton. A memorial service will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home with Maurice Stribling officiating.

Judith suffered from a rare and deadly form of brain cancer, glioblastoma. The team of doctors at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, in Chicago, worked tirelessly to give her every opportunity of survival.
