CLINTON — Vietnam Veteran Timothy E. Kielar, of Clinton, and his daughter and flight guardian Adrienne Harding, traveled together on October 30, with the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight #53 to Washington D.C.
Mr. Kielar served in the U.S. Army from August 1968 to March 1971. He was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; Fort Monmouth, New Jersey and Vietnam.
The Honor Flight program is a nationwide network dedicated to providing all veterans who apply with a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials honoring their service and sacrifice.
