Lila was born on June 16, 1930, in Clinton, the daughter of John D. and Ella (Campbell) Johnson. After graduating from Clinton High School she married Donald Andrews June 10, 1949 in Clinton.

Survivors include her five children, David (Darlene) Andrews, Jacksonville, Fla., Linda (Mark) Walston, Clinton, Terry (Mallon) Wood, Minier, Ill., Julie (John) Meeks, Bradenton, Fla., and Janet (John) McKay, Ocala, Fla.; sister, Esther Covey, Clinton; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and two more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, seven sisters, one granddaughter and1 great granddaughter.

Lila loved her family and was an active member of the Lane Christian Church until she moved to Liberty Village in July 2014.

She was a diehard Cubs fan and was so thrilled to see them win the World Series. We know she will be watching them win big this year, Go Cubs!

As an amateur genealogist, she kept track of all the births and deaths in her large family. She loved to send cards to her family and friends, and enjoyed word search puzzles.

Above all, she was a sweet, kind hearted lady who loved her family and gracefully dealt with what life handed her.
